ELFAN, which means “Art” in Lebanese Arabic, is a cultural and artistic creator, promoter and trainer company founded by Fabienne Touma, artist, manager, cultural mediator, and journalist.
ELFAN creates, organizes, and contributes to artistic and cultural projects and events (exhibitions, pop-ups, markets, festivals, concerts, round tables…), promotes artists from her home country, Lebanon, through the first online directory of Lebanese artists across all disciplines, press articles, and the podcast Le Temps d’un Récit, and also offers cultural mediation services to make art accessible to all audiences.
Through ELFAN, Fabienne Touma leads training sessions in collaboration with the FISAF to promote cultural accessibility for people with hearing impairments ; teaches art mediation through drawing and visual arts at Artelier Reine Mathilde Gallery ; and teaches at Saint Joseph University of Beirut, where she trains future cultural professionals, all of it based on the expertise she developed in France.
In parallel, Fabienne Touma continues her own artistic practice in singing, drawing/painting, and graphic design.
