Artist Encounters

Having created the first online directory of Lebanese artists and led several curation, promotion and mentoring projects within ELFAN — including features on Lebanese visual artists in Lebanon and in France — I am now continuing that work through a new format: the podcast.

In each episode I sit down with a Lebanese performing artist for an intimate conversation, driven by a genuine desire for authenticity and spontaneity. Wherever the artist may be, whether we meet in person or remotely, in Arabic, French or English, whether the sound is perfect or not, what I am looking for above all is a true voice. A sincere exchange. A story. A suspended moment in which the artist can tell their story differently, far from roles, appearances and stereotypes. This podcast is a space to listen differently, to take time, and to keep the voices of Lebanese artists alive and heard.
